Loch Ness Tour (2 Days, 1 night!)

 

Loch Ness is a long way from Glasow and Edinburgh therefore an overnight stay would be required to do this justice.

 

Day 1 We pick you up at your pre-designated point for an amzing journey north in which we visit Doune Castle ( filming Location for Games of Thrones, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and of course, it's Castle Leoch in the popular series, Outlander.

A coffee break by beautiful Loch Lubnaig before heading for a 20 minute walk through the magnificent Glencoe.  We lunch in the Claighaig Inn, (Harry Potter Movie, Prisoner of Azkeban).

Further north we enjoy Inverlochy Castle at Fort William and pay our respects to the fallen Commandos at Spean Bridge.  A late afternoon trip on the world famous Loch Ness to go 'Monster Hunting!

Day 2

After breakfast , we make our way to the historic battlefield of Culloden Moor, a very strange and eerie place.

Close to Culloden we transport you back some 4,500 years to the standing stones and tombs of Clava Cairns. (Think Outlander, Brave)

Heading down the A9 to enjoy the Newtonmore Highland museum village, spot the red squirrels as you walk throught the tall trees to the village used in Outlander.

 

Time permitting we stop for a wee dram of whisky at a distillery en route before heading home.
